AI Act evidence readiness
EU AI Act evidence readiness
Evidence before assertion.
Short answer
AI Act evidence readiness means having records that show what you do on the AI Act topics relevant to you. EvidentraIQ currently covers a verified, narrow scope: Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 says providers and deployers of AI systems shall take measures to support the AI literacy of their staff and others operating AI on their behalf. EvidentraIQ does not determine whether, or which, AI Act obligations apply to you.
Article 4 — AI literacy (law)
Under Article 4, providers and deployers of AI systems shall take measures to support the development of AI literacy of their staff and other persons dealing with the operation and use of AI systems on their behalf, taking into account their knowledge, experience, education and training and the context. The consolidated wording states the obligation does not require guaranteeing a specific level of AI literacy for any individual.
Article 50 — transparency (Commission guidance)
The European Commission has published guidelines and an FAQ on the Article 50 transparency obligations for providers and deployers of certain AI systems; per that guidance, the obligations apply from 2 August 2026. Article 50 does not apply to every AI system or company — whether it applies to you depends on your systems and role, and is a question for your legal advisers.
